Prepares detailed design specifications for highly complex and large-scale systems in order to plan and facilitate system development and programming.

Maintains assigned systems, responding to and resolving system problems in order to ensure systems are continuously available and function properly.

Develops systems employing higher level languages such as 3 GL's, 4 GL's, enterprise class application development tools, system utilities, and project management tools in order to prepare systems for implementation.

Diagnoses and isolates complex application software problems; formulates and implements effective solutions considering system capacity, limitations, time requirements, and desired results in order to resolve system problems and prevent reoccurrence.
