Description: Due to continued growth we are currently seeking to add a Sr. Systems Administrator. In this role, you will provide expert-level support, lead complex technical projects, and be responsible for:
Day-to-day responsibilities
Design, implement and support cloud infrastructure
Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues for end users
Support of Microsoft-related technologies: Windows Server, Office 365/Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
Support of virtual environments including VMware and Hyper-V
Support backup and disaster recovery solutions
Configure, install, and support various network devices and services, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, & security
Liaise with third-party vendors and other IT personnel for problem-resolution
Effectively communicate with customers on ticket progress, impending changes, or agreed outages, etc.
Maintain strong client system documentation to include system reviews and recommendations
Maintain daily documentation by entering time, expenses, and all work as service tickets in ConnectWise
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the IT field
MCSE 2012/2016 or VCP 6/6.5 certification (preferred).
7+ years of experience in IT (preferred).
Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, Office 365, and Mac OS (a plus).
AWS or Azure experience (a plus).
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
High attention to detail and organization, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
