Job Requirements / Description
3 Daily Responsibilities:
Drive rhythm of business measurement and analysis
Work with the Payments team and PMs to influence outcomes with domain knowledge and relevant datapoints
Conduct proactive, investigative analyses on web performance to improve the online user experience
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Psychology, Sociology, MIS, or related discipline.
5+ years of directly relevant experience working with large, complex datasets, experimental design and building statistical models, using SQL and one language for scripting or statistical programming (R, SAS, Python etc.). At least 5 years experience working with Business Intelligence, Data Warehouses tools and techniques, analytics and reporting platforms (SQL, BigQuery, Python) Expertise in methods, techniques and technologies in the areas of data modeling, data extraction/ETL, data validation, and data visualization (Plx, Data Studio, Tableau, Looker) Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and communicate complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level audiences. Requires experience articulating product questions and identifying and normalizing datasets to develop insights. Exceptional problem-solving, strategic, technical and analysis skills, combined with strong business acumen.
Desired:
Degree/advanced degree in data science, data analysis, or computer science with data focus
Experience with Payments and Risk analytics
Experience with Client Platform, or with general cloud computing products
2+ years in a web or business analytics role, with experience with enterprise web analytics solutions (Client Analytics), enterprise experimentation solutions (Adobe Test & Target, Client Optimize, Optimizely, etc)
Data Analyst Certification is a plus
