Overview:
Must have the ability to be onsite quarterly at our location in Bethlehem, PA

 

Incumbents will primarily manage, organize, and implement physical security projects, systems installation, services, and conversions. The incumbent will manage proper installation and operation, provide systems administration of security applications and hardware, oversee service requests, service performance and quality control review, and provide support to customer and employees to resolve security-related issues. Work will involve both internal departments and external vendors, and regular duties will require deployment of both technology and project management skills. Successful incumbents will leverage expertise, critical thinking, and discretion to address time-sensitive physical security incidents or matters.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for end-to-end management of physical security projects, including organization of physical security hardware and software, conversions, and installations. Works with internal departments to meet deliverables and deadlines. Communicates directly with third party integrators and project managers. Ensures all projects are installed accurately, to specification, and on schedule.

Administer various software systems to monitor and program security systems, independently troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. Responsible to diagnose and maintain electronic security system health and programming. Determines the correct course of action for the situation and then takes steps to resolve issues, engaging IT resources and/or external vendors as required.

Responsible for all open service calls and prioritization of service and repair as appropriate. Directly supports security integrator to resolve complex system failures. Systems include: Alarms, Access Control, Bio-metric, Network Video Recorders. obtains pricing and proposals, and tracks costs to ensure projects are within budget. Reviews vendor proposals and provides recommendations, including those on expenditures, to management.

Analyze and process physical security invoices for accuracy to related services and projects. Responsible for the vendor payment relationship, including tracking, analysis, and identification of variances. Conducts appropriate review with vendors on their account receivables and independently resolves invoice disputes, ensuring all accounts are in good standing. Escalates issues to management as required.

Updates policy and procedure, manages system life-cycles and product replacements. Performs quality control reviews including, but not limited to, vendor management relationships and data collection, .

Serves on department on-call/after hour rotation. Monitor, investigate, and resolve after-hours incidents as required, often independently and in time-sensitive situations. Supports the daily operation of the Protection Services department, including daily operations, customer support requests, emergencies, and critical events. Serves as a second level technical and operational contact, providing comprehensive technical expertise, problem discovery, and problem resolution through direct contact with varied stakeholders in all kinds of security-related situations.

 

Qualifications:
EducationAssociate Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: criminal justice or information technology. (Required)

Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: criminal justice or information technology. (Preferred)

Experience5 or more years physical security systems management and project management. (Required)

CertificationsAAP or PSP Certification. (Preferred)

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

 

The salary range for this position is $53,500.00 - $89,100.00 annually.
