DPP is seeking an IT Infrastructure and Operations Project Manager for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
Work arrangement:
Partially Onsite, 40% remote
W2 position; 12 months
Project scope:
The Enterprise Project Manager should be an experienced IT Infrastructure and Operations Project Manager who will collaborate with the IT Infrastructure and Operations team and both internal and external stakeholders.
Position description:
The role will focus on ensuring the successful completion and continuous improvement of IT network, server-related and cloud-based projects.
Responsibilities and duties:
Collaborate with staff, team members, management, and external organizations, including vendors, to gather and manage information for project plans, portfolios, metrics, reports, and documentation.
Define project objectives and scope by reviewing proposals to determine timelines, budgets, procedures, and phases for IT network infrastructure and server projects.
Implement project management processes for IT network infrastructure and server projects to ensure timely delivery, budget compliance, high quality, and customer satisfaction.
Work with technical teams and business stakeholders to develop deliverables suited for audiences with varying technical expertise.
Identify and assess project risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Point of Contact (POC) for managing and enhancing processes related to the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Recommend improvements in efficiency, reporting structures, and productivity to IO Leadership
Develop, implement, and manage a process for tracking all IT initiatives and projects, ensuring regular reporting and efficient resource utilization.
Prepare status reports and provide updates to stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify necessary activities, and ensure that deliverables, milestones, and tasks are completed on schedule.
Attend or lead staff meetings and integrate with the team, gaining familiarity with overall operations and project initiatives.
Use Microsoft Office, Atlassian Suite, SharePoint, Salesforce, and other tools to document, track, and report on IT project efforts.
Lead projects from initiation through to completion, adhering to the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Experience with project management of large enterprise level projects with proven implementation success
Project Management experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Strong background in project management in a healthcare insurance information technology environment
Project Management
Minimum 5 years Project Management experience
1+ plus years of experience within network infrastructure, server, and system administration operations.
Ability to plan, guide, manage, organize, and coordinate work assignments to employees
Ability to present and prepare reports
Ability to assign appropriate priorities to work activities based on organizational goals and situational pressures
Ability to effectively plan and communicate work activities and deadlines
Preferred KSAs:
Experience working in a development role supporting SharePoint 2013/2010/2007
MS SharePoint
Power BI
SharePoint administrator experience
Power BI experience with creation of dashboard reporting metrics
State or Federal Acquisition experience
Experience with healthcare and all healthcare related requirements
Prior experience in working with Microsoft products
Required education/equivalencies:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of related work experience
PMP Certification
Preferred:
Any IT certifications a plus
Agile Certifications
