Overview:
NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Software Developer to join our Integrations Team at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL. As a key member of our agile development team, you will be involved in building and enhancing enterprise-grade software systems utilizing the Microsoft .NET development stack. This role is crucial in the architecture, development, testing, and support of uniquely tailored versions of the TechCare EHR Solution’s interface engine. You will be responsible for developing secure, reliable, and efficient solutions for data exchange with third-party systems.

Responsibilities:
Software Development: Utilize extensive development expertise in C# .NET and MSSQL/TSQL to build and maintain software solutions that integrate with third-party systems.

Data Integration: Work with various data sets, including, XML, JSON, and CSV, to facilitate secure data exchange, HL7 experience a plus.

Technology Proficiency: Demonstrate knowledge of technologies including LINQ, WCF, WebAPI, REST, and SOAP.

Collaboration: Follow requirements and designs provided by the Software Integrations Architect to develop, test, and deliver software solutions.

Coding Standards: Adhere to best practice coding guidelines and the development team’s coding standards.

Version Control: Manage version control using GIT or TFS, and actively participate in pull requests and code reviews.

Database Management: Perform CRUD operations, manage and manipulate data in MSSQL databases, and develop applications to streamline data management processes.

Object-Oriented Design: Apply object-oriented design principles to create maintainable, scalable, and efficient code.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Additionally, 2+ years of professional programming experience is required.

Industry Knowledge: Experience in fields such as criminal justice and/or healthcare is preferred but not required.

Team Collaboration: Ability to learn, architect, and develop applications in a team-based, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.

Customer Service: Demonstrated excellence in customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of cross-functional teams.

Problem-Solving: Ability to logically troubleshoot and create innovative, practical solutions for problems as they arise.

Task Management: Capable of managing individual tasks and advancing projects towards defined goals with minimal supervision.
