SQL Database Administrator

Role Description:
" Installation and Configuration of SQL database servers
" Managing Support of Prod, Dev, QA ,test environments
" OS Knowledge- Windows, Linux, AIX, AWS EC2
" SQL Server cluster Creation, Configuration and maintenance
" Monitor Performance of all database servers
" Access Management
" Space Management
" Server Health check reports
" Follow database best practices
" Ensure all database servers are backed up so we can meet the business Recovery Time Objective (RTO)
" Troubleshoot SQL Server and Oracle database server
" Performance tuning database servers
" Migrate/Upgrade/Patching database servers as and when required
" Deploy database change scripts provided as approved
" Backup and recovery using Rubirk tool
" Supporting DR and HA solutions
" Inventory Management (maintaining OS/server/equipment information managed by the engineers, Server resource detail, allocation, licensing info, end of life details, etc.)
" Documentation of processes
" On-call support
Competencies: Microsoft SQL Server 2019
Experience (Years): 6-8
