Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Scientist with 15+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Advanced Python AI Machine Learning Databricks GIT and agile experience. Experience in Property and Casualty Insurance is a plus. This is a hybrid role with no travel required and the shift is during the day.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of advanced AI and machine learning solutions using Azure AI and Azure Machine Learning.

Oversee the integration of AI models into existing systems to enhance functionality and performance.

Provide technical expertise in Python to develop and optimize machine learning algorithms.

Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure the scalability and reliability of AI solutions by implementing software architecture.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code standards.

Mentor junior developers and provide guidance in AI and machine learning.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies and incorporate them into projects.

Develop and maintain documentation for AI solutions including design specifications and user manuals.

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that AI solutions meet business objectives and deliver measurable results.

Participate in project planning and provide estimates for development tasks.

Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all AI solutions.

Quaulifications:

15+ years of expirence in an IT related role

Possess a strong background in SQL Azure AI Azure Machine Learning and advanced Python.

Demonstrate experience in designing and developing AI and machine learning solutions.

Exhibit proficiency in integrating AI models into existing systems.

Show expertise in optimizing machine learning algorithms using Python.

Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

Certifications Required

Azure AI Engineer Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate

Salary and Other Compensation:

Application will be accepted until October, 27th, 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $101,000-$170,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
