Data Scientist & Engineer / San Jose CA / 4 months extendable contract

Responsibilities

· Work with Applied Researchers, Engineers, Analytics and multi-functional teams to produce end-to-end production-ready solutions.

· Design and implement efficient data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large datasets.

· Integrate/deploy machine learning models into production systems.

· Conduct data analysis to identify trends, insights, interpret experimentation and size opportunities within the advertising domain. Translate complex datasets into understandable and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Build dashboards to monitor system/business performance and status

Requirements

· BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

· Experience with big data technologies (i.e., Spark, Hadoop) and database technologies (i.e., SQL, NoSQL)

· Good understanding of machine learning applications.

· Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, Scala or Java

· Experience in solving problems using data science, building practical solutions, and deploying models into production for evaluation

· Strong ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights. Expertise in data mining and segmentation. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
