Overview:
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Functional Analyst III to join our USAF Air Mobility Command Global Decision Support System (GDSS) Functional Help Desk Team. The Functional Analyst Level III will be responsible for managing the implementation of technical solutions aligned with company objectives and business requirements. This position requires the ability to translate business analyses conducted by Business Analysts into detailed technical roadmaps, outlining the designs, configurations, installations, or updates needed for success. The Level III Functional Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective delivery of these solutions while meeting technical and business expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the implementation of technical solutions that align with company objectives and business needs.
Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business analyses into technical roadmaps, specifying designs, configurations, installations, or updates.
Provide guidance and leadership in the execution of technical roadmaps.
Ensure that all implemented solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
Monitor and track the progress of solution implementations, adjusting plans as necessary to meet project goals.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment during solution deployment.
Document technical processes and updates, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed.
Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Minimum of 6 years of experience in functional analysis, technical implementation, or a related field.
High School Diploma or College Degree (preferred) with functional/technical experience and appropriate certifications.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into actionable technical plans.
Experience with project management and technical implementation processes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate between business and technical teams.
Ability to manage complex projects independently and make informed decisions
