Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, with expertise in configuring, deploying, and managing ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HR, and others. As an SME, you will be responsible for guiding the organization in maximizing the capabilities of ServiceNow, providing technical leadership, and ensuring best practices are followed to optimize performance and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for all ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM002CHR Service Delivery, Asset Management, and other related areas.

Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and optimal performance.

Configuration & Development: Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements. This includes developing workflows, dashboards, and reports using ServiceNow's scripting capabilities (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.).

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end users to gather requirements, suggest ServiceNow solutions, and ensure successful implementation and adoption.

Best Practices & Governance: Establish and promote best practices for platform use, development standards, and governance to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution support for ServiceNow incidents and performance issues.

Upgrades & Enhancements: Lead platform upgrades, patching, and maintenance efforts to ensure the ServiceNow environment remains current, secure, and aligned with business needs.

Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide training, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing sessions to other team members and business stakeholders on ServiceNow capabilities and new features.

Vendor Management: Work with ServiceNow and third-party vendors to stay up-to-date on platform capabilities, new releases, and support best practices for continuous improvement.

Integration: Oversee integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications, ensuring data consistency, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including implementation, configuration, and administration.

Certifications: ServiceNow Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM, or other modules).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript).

Experience with integrations using APIs (REST, SOAP) and other technologies (LDAP, MID Server, etc.).

Strong understanding of CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and ITSM best practices.

Knowledge of platform security and performance optimization.

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership: Experience leading teams or projects in the design and deployment of ServiceNow solutions, and mentoring junior developers or administrators.

Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile project management and experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
