We are actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer to aid in the development efforts of critical applications for our esteemed client, a global investment firm, headquartered in New York, NY.

Primary Functions & Essential Responsibilities:

Lead the development and innovation of mission-critical applications, prioritizing scalability, efficiency, and the utilization of cutting-edge technologies.

Architect and implement solutions to enhance and modernize our existing applications, ensuring alignment with contemporary technical standards.

Champion the adoption of cloud-native principles within Azure or AWS environments to achieve high scalability and resilience for applications.

Engage in technical design activities, including database diagramming and system architecture, to deliver robust and efficient software solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud data technologies and optimize application performance.

Work closely with stakeholders to align technological advancements with business objectives and strategic goals.

Mentor and empower IT team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

 

Qualifications:

Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C#/.NET, Java, Python, or Golang.

Strong command of cloud services, particularly within Azure or AWS, and their application in enterprise environments.

Understanding of cloud data technologies and their application in business software.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

 

Highly Desired Skills:

Experience with message-oriented middleware technologies such as Kafka, Redis, or Confluent.

Solid foundation in technical design, system architecture, and database diagramming.
