Overview:
Position: Network Administrator
Location: Tustin, CA
Pay: $90k to $110k a year
Position Summary:
Primary responsibilities include assisting with the administration of a customer-facing network infrastructure. Focus areas include but are not limited to administration of switches and routers, access lists, firewall management, network security and application debugging as well as supporting internally developed tools. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of TCP / IP and Microsoft Exchange, as well as VM Ware, must possess attention to detail, and adjust quickly to a constantly changing and fast paced environment. Must be comfortable working independently but also as part of a team.

Install and operate LAN / WAN network infrastructure as needed.
Perform network performance tune-ups and administration.
Research new technologies including software and hardware, based on business needs.
Assist with deploying new routers, switches and security platforms in current or new data centers.
Develop and document operational processes and procedures for IT staff.
Develop and maintain network diagrams.
Troubleshoot, locate and log root causes of network incidents.
Mentor and help develop junior network administrators and technicians.
Participate in on-call duties and after-hours duties.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:

Highly motivated, self-starter, and capable of working with little instruction to resolve demanding tasks, as well as work with teams on larger projects.
A minimum of 5 years’ Network Administration experience with enterprise-level or service-provider network support.
Experience with VM Ware and Microsoft Exchange.
Solid knowledge of TCP / IP protocol.
Experience with routing, switching, and network routing protocols.
Network Security experience with various firewalls.
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Understanding of network hardware architecture.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of application flows, packet capture, and analysis.
Comfortable with Linux / UNIX / Microsoft Exchange.
Experienced with SAN infrastructure / switching.
Desired Education/Experience:
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ Network Administration experience with enterprise-level or service-provider network support.
Working knowledge of Veeam software.
Network certification (CCNA, JNCIA) preferred but not required.
A bachelors’ degree in computer science or a related field.
Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
