Informatica Professional Services (IPS) SME/Specialist 1

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the engineering, configuration, and maintenance of the Enterprise Informatica Platform (EIP).

Provide troubleshooting and technical issue resolution for Informatica products.

Ensure platform stability and efficiency for critical IRS systems.

Skills Required:

In-depth knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

Expertise in system architecture for distributed, multi-cluster Informatica environments.

Advanced troubleshooting skills related to Informatica connectors (e.g., Amazon S3, Redshift).

Hands-on experience in network optimization and performance tuning for distributed environments (multi-node, geographically dispersed).

Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 dual stack configuration.

Experience in DevOps practices, especially around the automation and deployment of Informatica environments.

Certifications:

Informatica Certified Professional (ICP).

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (for cloud integration).

Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) (optional, but highly regarded in data-related roles).

Experience:

10+ years of experience with Informatica products (engineering, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting).

5+ years of experience managing multi-environment, multi-cluster platforms.

Proven experience with IRS or federal systems (preferred but not mandatory).

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Master's degree (optional but preferred) in Data Science, IT Management, or related discipline.
