Project Scheduler

Oxford Solutions is working with a client to fill a role for a Project Scheduler.

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules for electrical and MEP construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with industry-standard scheduling practices and software, particularly Primavera P6. This role requires a deep understanding of construction scheduling methodologies such as CPM, Takt, Pull Planning, and the Last Planner System.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate schedule development and updates.

Utilize industry-standard scheduling practices

Monitor project progress and make adjustments to schedules as necessary to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Prepare and present schedule reports and updates to project teams and clients.

Identify potential scheduling conflicts and proactively develop solutions.

Ensure all scheduling activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Assist in the development of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling for electrical and MEP construction projects.

Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.

Extensive knowledge of industry-standard scheduling practices

Experience managing schedules for multi-million dollar projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
