Responsibilities:
As part of the Enterprise Mobility IT Division, the Digital Workplace team provides solutions for our business that enable mobility, office productivity, collaboration, and information sharing. Our goal is to ensure solutions securely meet or exceed requirements and enable the business to continue to grow and prosper. You will play a key role in delivering creative experiences for digital workers regardless of their location. Every day you will have the opportunity to provide technical leadership and vision across a breadth of technology solutions. Additionally, this position will be a mentor for less experienced team members on new tasks and assignments.
As an IT Solution Architect you will lead strategic activities in our dynamic IT environment. You will routinely collaborate with Engineers and Managers from multiple disciplines to develop the strategic vision for the department. When leading projects, you will be responsible for holding yourself and others accountable for detail-orientation and will be required to deliver well-tested, secure, inter-operable technologies that support company vision and strategy. You must be able to maintain effective relationships with all levels of company management, as well as with internal and external customers. As an IT Solution Architect, you must actively coach, mentor and teach others as well as use influence, expertise, and leadership to support other teams as they implement technology solutions.
The IT Solution Architect is responsible for maintaining a deep, technical knowledge and thorough understanding of solution design, constraints and operational approaches. The IT Solution Architect develops collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to build and implement technology solutions, as well as actively anticipate and solve problems during and after delivery.
Additional Responsibilities:
Applies advanced knowledge of professional concepts and company objectives to resolve a wide range of moderately complex issues in creative and effective ways
Subject matter expert in more than one area of responsibility; represents team within and outside own department
Assists with project planning; provides technical expertise to project teams and/or leads project teams within area/department
Has significant autonomy over completion of day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new projects or assignments
Defines, develops, communicates, and implements standards, processes, and procedures for the team or department
Establishes, maintains, and fosters relationships both within and outside the team and department
Monitors key performance metrics to ensure compliance of established standards, processes, and procedures
Understands and translates business requirements to architectural blueprints that align with overall technology vision
Gathers and identifies solution needs; assists in defining the architecture
Defines, creates, and evaluates processes; identifies and recommends process improvements; designs solutions using knowledge of business strategy, security, technologies, and architectural methods
Develops, documents, and maintains overall view of architectural blueprints
Collaborates with Engineers on the direction for the development of solutions or enhancements.
Maintains knowledge of emerging architectural methods and technologies for application to the environment
Listens to and evaluates customer needs to determine, provide, and identify high quality solutions that align with customer expectations
Provides instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments; ensures deadlines are met

The IT Solution Architect role requires 5 or more years of related experience
Proven experience developing strategies and road maps for solutions that solve business problems, are scalable and sustainable, are secure, and meet internal long-term goals of IT and the business
Extensive knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft 365 products and licensing
Previous experience with Microsoft security platforms
Experience with Microsoft productivity and collaboration solutions
Experience designing endpoint management solutions for Windows, Android, and Mac
Experience with Windows Intune and Autopilot
Experience with Azure AD and Conditional Access
Experience with Azure cloud workloads
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data for effective story telling
Proven leadership, results orientation, and self-motivation traits
Superb communication skills – both written and verbal with the ability to engage an audience across a broad range of technical expertise and/or business acumen
Demonstrates a high degree of collaboration; works well with others as it relates to generating ideas
Prior success mentoring and developing IT professionals
Proficient knowledge of project management concepts, from planning and inception, through implementation and support
Must demonstrate flexibility and agility related to critical thinking and making decisions with complex considerations as it relates to business implications
Must possess a high degree of impact and strategic influence, and constructively challenge prevailing thoughts and processes
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
