Job Description:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and engaging designs for desktop and responsive mobile platforms, focused on helping users achieve their financial goals. You will lead design reviews, facilitate ideation sessions, and ensure that designs align with established patterns and design systems. Working closely with business and technology partners, you will contribute to delivering user-centered designs that enhance the advisor and end-client experience, driving the success of our digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate collaborative design sessions, including sketching and ideation
Lead design reviews, driving decisions that align with user-centered principles
Create design solutions for advisor and end-client experiences
Translate established design patterns into effective solutions
Visualize ideas using wireframes, sketches, or prototypes
Maintain and communicate design schedules and project status
Conduct primary design activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables
Collaborate with research teams to support design validation efforts
Listen to feedback and guide team members toward improved design outcomes
Foster a cooperative and collaborative team environment
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
6+ years of interaction design experience focused on digital products
Strong online portfolio demonstrating design process and thinking
Expertise in user-centered design, including user research, wireframes, usability testing, and design specifications
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborative teams
Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, InVision, and Mural
Strong self-management and project scheduling skills
Experience running design sessions with cross-functional teams
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
