Core Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST

Onsite: Bloomfield, CT

 

Duties:

Role Summary/Key Objectives:

In this position, you will represent the Global Experience and Identity organization under Technology Experience Services (TXS). The Technology Solution Zone, part of STS, supports colleagues at brick-and-mortar locations as well as virtual zones. As a Technical Support Analyst in the Technology Solution Zone, you will be a technical representative in either the store or virtual environment, working closely with colleagues and collaborating with various teams.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Provide excellent support for all technology products and services.

Troubleshoot hardware issues, including Windows, Mac, and mobile devices.

Resolve issues within a specified timeframe following defined processes, or escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate technical support groups.

Collaborate with other technicians, lead technicians, and the Operations Manager, as well as Virtual and Store Leads and the Greeter.

Meet and greet colleagues, answer questions, and resolve issues related to various lines of business (LOBs) involving client products and services.

Follow up on all open tickets/issues within the specified timeframe.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and problem elimination.

Stay updated on new technologies to support the rapidly changing and expanding environment.

Provide high-level summaries to store leads during incidents or project updates.

Establish credibility quickly by taking initiative and following up.

Present a positive, professional, and colleague-focused image, with a strong understanding that colleague satisfaction is key to the success of the Technology Solution Zone.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or 1-2 years of work experience in a technology role.

Broad knowledge of multiple technologies and platforms.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Sufficient understanding of technology operations, workflows, and procedures to resolve most inquiries independently.

Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and technical staff.

Demonstrates empathy and understanding of colleague issues. A customer-centric approach is essential.

Ability to think creatively and generate solutions, translating technology into business solutions that address colleagues' problems.

Ability to multitask and handle various lines of business with minimal supervision.
