Location: Boston, MA

Work Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite) / Remote

Salary: $110k to $170k

ABOUT THE ROLE:Elevate your career by becoming a member of our Software Development team. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Full Stack Developer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge web and desktop applications within an Agile team. This role encompasses all stages of the SDLC, from requirements review to design, development, testing, and deployment. DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Design and develop cloud-hosted web applications for the insurance industry, covering everything from high-level architecture and network infrastructure to user experience, database schema, and testing.
* Transform static application mockups and wireframes into functional front-end user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, SAAS, LESS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Angular, and third-party controls like Kendo UI/Infragistics.
* Develop complex single-page web applications that communicate with REST API backends using Angular, React, or similar technologies.
* Collaborate with other engineers to create functional and responsive web applications within an Agile team.
* Develop and implement REST APIs.
* Take on UI automation responsibilities alongside development tasks.
* Utilize your knowledge of T-SQL and database programming with any RDMS system.
* Apply strong problem-solving skills and a fast-learning attitude to quickly adapt to new challenges.
* Demonstrate excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Bring enthusiasm, energy, and creativity to your work every day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* B.S. in Math, EE, CS, or Software Engineering; M.S. preferred.
* 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing commercial-grade software products.
* 3+ years of web development experience with Angular/React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, .NET Core or NodeJS, and REST.
* 2+ years of experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including C# and PostgreSQL.
* 2+ years of experience working with multi-tenant cloud-native applications.
* Experience with AWS Cloud is a plus.
* Strong understanding of Agile processes and best practices.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and trends.
* Ability to develop use-cases from business requirements.
* Effective collaboration skills with project stakeholders outside of the development group, especially with Product Management on feature requirements and project schedules.
* Ability to provide technical leadership and oversight to the development team, ensuring adherence to established architecture, design, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
* Knowledge and experience in GIS software development (GeoServer, MapBox, OpenLayers, MapServer, Serverless GIS) is a plus, but not required.
