Job Requirements / Description
We are currently looking for a Software Coordinator who will be responsible for the correct deployment of vehicle software packages to the test fleet, confirming/validating successful updates, and thoroughly documenting work performed. Be responsible for the overall software status of all vehicles in their care.
As a Software Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Organizing and deploying the correct software packages in specified test vehicles
Validating the software deployments and required documentation
Confirming proper module reporting from installed measurement equipment
Troubleshooting issues that occur during software and hardware updates
Working closely with engineers, technicians, mechanics and test drivers to execute efficient test plans
Interfacing with customers and functional staff at various levels to address vehicle issues
Performing light hardware updates when required (single part/module)
To be considered as a Software Coordinator, you will need:
A High School diploma or equivalent
2 years of well-rounded automotive experience
Working knowledge of automotive communication systems
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Strong computer and technical skills to use laptop and customer specific diagnostic equipment
To be able to read, comprehend and execute written procedures
Preferred qualifications:
Associates Degree in an automotive or technology related field
Experience with vehicle diagnostic equipment
