The Technical Architect provides technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions. As a Technology Architect, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. This role is considered part of the Business Unit Leadership team and may mentor Junior Architects and /or development team members.

Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, solutions/designs and roadmaps to product teams for implementation.

Work with offshore application developers, users, operational leadership, and subject matter experts to understand current and future operational data analysis goals. Recommend modern technology stacks to meet those goals and help global engineering teams migrate towards their use.

Collaborate with the customer's operations and technology leadership on the future analytic goals of the organization, and design a technical architecture to meet those goals. Participate in configuring the architecture, and advise global engineering teams on its efficient use.

Work closely with stakeholders, including product owners, developers and designers to ensure delivery of related products and services.

Lead the design and development of software applications, ensuring they meet both functional and user experience requirements.

Lead a work stream and/or act as a team lead and manage non-complex components of the work plan/project.

Oversee code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Guide a global engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Utilize analytical, process, and/or technical skills to meet project objectives and deliverables that are self-directed and within project scope.

Help provide alternative solutions and guide product teams to an optimal fit from both an engineering effort and timely delivery to market.

Minimum 8 years of software development and architecture experience.

At least 5 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks.

Hands-on experience with Domain Driven Design principals and Event Driven architecture 

Proficiency in multiple programming languages with a focus on C# and .NET 

At least 3 years of cloud-based development experience within various MS Azure services such as App Services, Function Apps, App Gateway, Front Door, Azure Monitor, Azure App Insights, Azure Data Explorer, and Azure SQL. Azure  functions and Cosmos DB is a MUST 

Familiarity with enterprise development tools Azure Dev Ops and Jira.

Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point.

Experience owning, authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.

Experience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.

Proven track record of technical leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software products to large consumer markets.

Skilled in building relationships with clients at the C level and in practice development activities.

Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.

Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.

Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

 

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008  to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
