Application Developer - Level 4 (Oracle APEX)
Location: Hartford, CT
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Interview: Webcam or In-person (candidate must be comfortable with both)

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Oracle APEX Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience developing custom applications using Oracle APEX, including reports, forms, workflows, etc.
PL/SQL and SQL Proficiency: 3+ years of experience in PL/SQL and SQL development for creating custom code and packages.
Oracle APEX Security: Experience with Oracle APEX Data Security, Data Modeling, and Web Security.
Web Development Skills: Familiarity with web design principles and experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS within the Oracle APEX environment.
Technical Design: Ability to create clear and comprehensive technical design documents for APEX-related objects.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality reviews to ensure design deliverables meet requirements and resolve any inconsistencies.
Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve errors and defects independently or in collaboration with the functional team.
Issue Reporting: Clearly communicate issues and dependencies to relevant stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Oracle Cloud Experience: Familiarity with Oracle Cloud technologies (Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle R12, Autonomous Database, OIC) is a plus.
Oracle REST Data Services: Experience integrating Oracle APEX with Oracle SaaS using REST Data Services is preferred.
APEX Version: Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX 21.x or higher is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Oracle APEX.
Technical Design: Create technical design documents for APEX objects.
Collaboration: Work closely with the functional team and clients, providing SME support on Oracle APEX capabilities and technical feasibility.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality reviews and ensure design traceability to requirements.
Issue Resolution: Identify, triage, and resolve errors and defects.
Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing clear updates and reporting on issues and dependencies.
