Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking an expert to join our team and take on a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

Technical Problem-Solving: Tackle and resolve escalated field issues related to Access and CPE devices, ensuring seamless network performance.

Technology Assessments: Evaluate current technologies to identify and address performance and capacity gaps, keeping our infrastructure at the forefront of industry standards.

Security and Connectivity: Establish and fine-tune security protocols, connectivity, and access parameters to safeguard and optimize network operations.

Network Optimization: Provide strategic recommendations to enhance and optimize our network infrastructure, ensuring peak performance.

Testing and Tuning: Test and fine-tune security devices, routers, switches, and communication technologies (data and voice) to maintain and improve system integrity.

End-to-End Management: Oversee network services from the planning phase through to full implementation, ensuring seamless execution.

What You Bring:

Expertise: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware/software, and security technologies.

Advanced Skills: In-depth understanding of DOCSIS and EPON standards.

CMTS Platforms: Proficient in working with Casa C100G, Arris E6000, Cisco cBR8, Harmonic vCMTS and RPDs, Vecima RPDs.

EPON Platforms: Experience with ADTRAN 95XX, SDX-6210, Vecima (Nokia) 7360, and Distributed Access Architecture SF-4x, SC-2D3.

Switch Platforms: Familiarity with Cisco Company/ASR, Juniper PTX/QFX/ACX.

Routing Protocols: Expertise in OSPF, ISIS, BGP, v4/v6 Multicast.

Documentation Skills: Ability to write clear, detailed technical documentation and test plans.

Creative Troubleshooting: A strong background in CPE and ONU troubleshooting, with innovative problem-solving skills.
