Leidos has an opening for a highly qualified Scrum Master for the Multi-Domain Solutions Division. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your experience to support across all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems to realize the Department of Defense Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). In this role you will support an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Processing Node (PN) to design and implement solutions that can be delivered at speed, scale, and with the necessary security to deliver operational advantages to the joint warfighter. ABMS is a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across JADC2. This position will work closely with Program Managers, other domain engineers, and Government counterparts across Government and Industry partners.  

This position can be worked from Alexandria, VA (preferred), Dallas, Texas, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Melbourne, Florida. It will support teleworking 1-2 days a week but our candidate must be willing to go on site.

Primary responsibilities:

Helping the team refine the backlog continuously.

An integral part of migration teams, collaborating to work with all stakeholders for the successful execution of migration throughout its life cycle.

Supporting migration with an understanding of software development and technical concepts that helps in building a common understanding of an approach and communicating with stakeholders.

Manage team meetings and be the first person to try and resolve team member process hurdles.

Responsible for Agile process implementation and coaching of an 8-person team.

Collaborate with other scrum masters and engineers to ensure that project Agile processes are efficient across all of the teams.

Communicate with other teams and stakeholders on project status.

Works with team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.

Conduct team PI planning efforts.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelors Degree and 4-8 years experience as a scrum master or Masters with 2-6 years of relevant experience.

An active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

Participated in PI planning events.

Experience as a scrum master for hardware and software teams.

Coached and mentored team members on Agile processes.

Contributed to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.

Facilitated and supported scrum events such as: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

Experience working with teams of various disciplines (SW, HW…)

Experience with JIRA, Structure, Confluence and Excel.

Additional Qualifications/Certifications

Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance) or equivalent.

SAFe Practioner.
