Overview:
The Sponsor requires data science SME support for analysis of technical data associated with Sponsor run empirical testing utilizing telecom data.
Data ScientistThe Sponsor requires data science SME support for analysis of technical data associated with Sponsor run empirical testing utilizing telecom data. The Data Scientist will analyze and exploit datasets in order to inform operational design and testing, analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the development of new testing projects and modifications of an existing one, and analyze user needs and requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and resource constraints. They will be expected to maintain a work history document, documenting SOPs and code written so others can understand the program, consult with managerial and team personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes, and build sustainable relationships of trust through timely, open and interactive communication.
1.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience developing, testing, and implementing advanced analytics for geo-spatial data science applications. 2.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with systems architecture and setting up computational environments for parallel computation, data retrieval, and scientific computing. 3.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with data management and crafting ETL pipelines. 4.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with current techniques and methods for analyzing, modifying, storing, and moving large amounts of spatio-temporal data reliably and efficiently. 5.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with a deep understanding of Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) concepts and applications for the purposes of applying data science to human activity. 6.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience computing spatio-temporal co-occurrences of devices using telecommunications data. 7.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with ABI using Collateral Telemetry Data (CTD). 8.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience programming in python. 9.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience creating and modifying conda environments. 10.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience using python packages: Polars, sci-kit learn, numpy, pyspark, matplotlib. 11.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience using QGIS for geo-spatial visualization and the QGIS Time Data Control plugin. 12.(Mandatory) Demonstrated experience in the parquet file format.
