The cloud architect is responsible for the cloud computing initiatives within an organization and for directing the architectural aspects of a cloud brokering team across all aspects of IT and the business. Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's cloud computing infrastructure and applications. Implements and designs hardware and software. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

This Cloud Solutions Architect 3 contractor position is part of the WIC Applications team and will be working to understand the architecture and engineer the transfer of a CRM solution using Dynamics 365 and other services in Microsoft 365 Power Platform. This position will perform cloud solutions architect duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Dynamics 365, Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE),
Dataverse, Power Pages, Mobile Power Apps, Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, Power Pages, Desktop Flows, Connectors, Business Process Flows, and more.
Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model.
Understanding of Dataverse tables and uses.
Experience with Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, and PowerApps portals.
Experience with Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows, and Process Advisor.
Experience with Azure platform services, Azure data factory for data migration, Azure VMs and security objects.
Good understanding of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.
Good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.

III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start 07/15/2024 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2024. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 360 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
The primary work location(s) will be at 4616 W. Howard Lane, Building 2, Suite 275, Austin, TX 78728. The working position is Telework. Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the Candidate's and/or Vendor's expense. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will provide pre-approved, written authorization for travel for any services to be performed away from the primary work location(s). Pre-approved travel expenses are limited to the rates and comply with the rules prescribed by the State of Texas for travel by its classified employees, including any requirement for original receipts.
The Candidate(s) may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested. Payment for work over 40 hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and pre-approved through Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
