Job Description/ Responsibilities
" Design and architect end-to-end Software Asset Management solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
" Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient SAM Pro solutions.
" Configure and customize ServiceNow SAM Pro modules to meet business requirements.
" Develop and implement enhancements to optimize software asset management processes.
" Knowledge on plugins available for publishers in SAM Pro
" Knowledge on publisher licensing & Subscriptions
" Knowledge on software compliances
" Knowledge on standard software normalization rules
" Integrate SAM Pro with other ServiceNow modules and third-party systems as needed.
" Ensure seamless data flow between SAM Pro, ITOM, Asset Management, CMDB and related ITSM processes.
" Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in Software Asset Management and ServiceNow development.
" Implement best practices for software license compliance and optimization.
" Provide training to end-users and support teams on the use of SAM Pro modules.
" Create and maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes.
" Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems like SCCM, Intune and Nexpose Integration, web services, and middleware.
" Knowledge of data synchronization and integration best practices.
" Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into SAM Pro solutions.
" Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
" Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
" Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex SAM Pro challenges.
" Ability to analyze data and provide insights for software license optimization.
" Project management skills to lead SAM Pro implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
" Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAM Pro implementations.
" ServiceNow platform expertise, with a focus on IT Asset Management and Software Asset Management modules.
" Proven experience in designing and implementing Software Asset Management solutions using ServiceNow SAM Pro.
" Familiarity with software license compliance, optimization, and auditing.
