Job Requirements / Description
Position : Network Administrator
Location : Chicago, IL 60607
Start Date : Day 1 Onsite
Key Responsibilities :
Perform network maintenance, upgrades, and apply security patches
Standardize and optimize infrastructure for maximum performance
Monitor network capacity and ensure sufficient bandwidth
Use automation tools to streamline network provisioning
Design, implement, and troubleshoot network architecture
Proactively address obstacles and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Maintain service reliability and thorough documentation
Required Experience & Skills :
8+ years of network administration and troubleshooting in web hosting or datacenter environments
Proven experience in datacenter network design and maintenance (LAN/WAN)
Expertise in BGP and OSPF routing protocols, site-to-site VPN configuration, and multi-site secure networks
Proficient with Juniper routers/firewalls and Cisco switches
Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Salt)
Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are a strong plus
