Seeking an Oracle P2P (Procure to Pay) Consultant in the Bay Area, CA. Onsite presence is preferred, but remote candidates in the PST timezone are also acceptable.
Experience in the retail or manufacturing industry is a plus.
The client is looking for a professional with 8-12 years of experience in Oracle Procure to Pay (P2P) processes, specifically with expertise in Oracle Procurement and Payables and related Oracle Cloud modules. Here are the key qualifications and responsibilities they are seeking:
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of Oracle Procurement and Payables, with familiarity in related modules like Inventory, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger.
Ability to understand Procure to Pay business requirements and map them to Oracle Cloud functionalities.
Experience in developing and reviewing functional specifications and RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows) documentation.
Expertise in solution development and configuration for end-to-end P2P processes using Oracle Procurement Cloud modules.
Experience in creating, reviewing, and executing test scripts for P2P processes in Oracle Cloud Procurement & Financials.
Strong knowledge of integrations with third-party applications relevant to Procurement processes.
Functional Knowledge:
Ability to work closely with Client Oracle SMEs and Project Managers to ensure client acceptance of rollout solutions according to Global Design templates.
Experience in supporting business users during Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), System Integration Testing (SITs), and User Acceptance Testing (UATs).
Capability to train key business users on Oracle Procurement Cloud modules.
Experience in transitioning existing P2P solutions to Oracle Procurement Cloud.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in the retail or manufacturing industry is preferred, as the candidate should understand industry-specific nuances for Oracle Procurement Cloud implementations.
Experience in rollouts and implementations of Oracle SCM modules across EMEA, North America, and APAC regions.
Professional Skills:
Oracle Procurement Cloud certifications are highly desirable.
Proven expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP with multiple end-to-end implementations and rollouts.
Client-facing skills: Strong communication, client handling, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as within a team environment.
Agile/Scrum experience.
Problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills with attention to detail.
Willingness to travel across countries as required.
