Overview:
HireRight is looking for a talented Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) based out of Tallinn, Estonia who is going to contribute to the product quality strategy. The candidate will contribute towards management and implementation of automation, performance and functional quality processes. In this role, you will manage both SDETs and test engineers and are expected to guide, train and build the team to deliver quality software.

Responsibilities:
Directs day-to-day activities of the quality team.

Monitor, and maintain functional, performance as well as automated test strategies.

Work closely with developers, TPM and program managers to align on the quality strategy.

Ensures all coding standards and best practices are being met and perform code review for automated tests.

Identify and troubleshoot issues with the automated tests.

Work and coordinate with teams across different geographic locations.

Manage, recruit, and lead a quality team consisting of SDETs and QA Engineers.

Qualifications:
8-12 years of experience as an SDET with a passion for Quality Assurance and Software Engineering.

3+ years of experience leading or managing a team of 10+ engineers.

Experience with functional, performance and automated testing of multi-tier Web applications.

API Testing with Postman or other API testing tools.

Strong, proven programming skills in Java, Selenium and TestNG/Junit.

Architecture and creation of test automation frameworks with Page Object Model.

Excellent understanding of Maven and dependency management.

Solid background in GIT and versioning.

Experience in API testing of SOAP and REST services.

Experience in team management and development of engineering talent.

Experience with Agile development methodology.

Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Experience in Atlassian suite of products like Jira, Confluence etc.

Performance testing with JMeter, LoadRunner etc.
