Full Stack Java Developer
Hybrid Onsite - Chantilly, VA

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development, with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust web applications using Java and JavaScript.
Build user interfaces with React, ensuring responsive and seamless user experiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Develop and maintain APIs and microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
Work with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, to design, implement, and manage data models and schemas.
Utilize GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipeline management.
Employ Jira for task tracking and project management, and Confluence for documentation.
Ensure the security and integrity of applications by adhering to best practices and security standards.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with React for front-end development.
Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with GitLab for version control and CI/CD.
Experience with Jira for project management and Confluence for documentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
TS/SCI CI Polygraph-level security clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.
Experience with other front-end frameworks/libraries.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools.
