Job Description:

This role contributes to the success of our client's organization from end to end. By leading and managing the implementation of a new CRM platform and other key projects to completion, ensuring they are delivered on-time and within budget. The Project / Program Manager will engage with internal clients, vendors, and stakeholders, overseeing the full project lifecycle from initiation through to closure.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the primary liaison and project manager for the CRM implementation and related projects, interfacing with internal stakeholders across various departments including Guest Experience, Membership, and Animal Care.

Manage projects from business case development to project closure, ensuring alignment with project management best practices and methodologies to varying degrees, as appropriate for each project.

Develop, maintain, and communicate project requirements, plans, and schedules with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Oversee system implementation projects, both within IT and across other departments, with a focus on optimizing business processes and enhancing stakeholder engagement.

Conduct project closure activities, including post-mortems for completed and abandoned projects to ensure continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience managing complex projects, with a focus on technology infrastructure and CRM platform implementation.

Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including executive-level individuals, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with project management applications and systems; experience with Microsoft Visio or similar workflow modeling tools preferred.

Strong understanding of relational database concepts and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on managing complex projects and executive stakeholder engagement.

Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

PMP certification is a plus, with an emphasis on candidates who have experience applying project management principles in a practical, results-oriented manner.

Other Important Details:

Hybrid work model, with a preference for candidates based in Chicago or willing to relocate temporarily, as on-site presence is required 2-3 days per week.

This is a contract role with a focus on completing Phase 1 of the CRM project by late summer or early fall of 2025, with potential for continued involvement based on project needs.
