Essential Functions
As a UX Designer I on the Seller Experience team, you will:
- Rapidly prototype, build and ideate on product designs informed by user needs, data, business objectives and technical capabilities; resulting in scalable experiences that can be adopted by multiple groups and span across multiple channels of the business.
- Serve as the project UX point of contact representing the needs of our sellers and crafting experiences that promote their long-term success.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, working closely with Engineering, Product and Business partners to find solutions that meet the needs of both the business and our customers.
- Create solutions with the appropriate level of detail and fidelity for every UX design phase of the product development lifecycle, actively scaling design assets from simple sketches, design concepts, high-fidelity wireframes, clickable prototypes and final, annotated design deliverables.
- Design for accessibility standards and help maintain a standardized design language system.
- Work closely with UX Researchers/Strategists on testing protocol, collection and synthesis of customer insights to ensure UX solutions are aligned to customer expectations.
- Follow established design processes to ensure quality and speed of the products we deliver.
Competency (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- 3+ years of UX Design experience, including subject matter expertise in designing solutions for small businesses, both within the United States and internationally.
- Have designed tools and workflows for SaaS or B2B products for an eCommerce or online marketplace context.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working within an agile environment and multidisciplinary team, including: your fellow Designers, Researchers Product Managers, Software Engineers, and product Stakeholders.
- Mastery of standard interactive design tools like Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in creating comprehensive design solutions that cover the end-to-end user experience.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive design principles
- Experience using user research and usability testing to inform and validate design solutions
- Experience leveraging A/B results and analyzing user feedback and other data to enhance the user experience.
- Experience developing seamless designs that are accessible across multiple surfaces, platforms, and device types.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study, or a combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated success as a UX Designer experiences and tools for sellers in the eCommerce space.
- Able to successfully execute all UX activities and deliverables of a design project from start to finish.
- A portfolio of work demonstrating your process for creating user-centered designs with measurable business impact.
- A collaborative and team-focused work approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- A deep love of the hobby, gaming, or collectibles space.
- Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
- Experience working with top-tier eCommerce, marketplaces companies and products.
Physical Demands
The role involves the following physical demands on a regular basis:
Mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer.
Sitting or standing for an extended period of time, up to eight hours per day.
Ability to use vision to read computer screen and read printed materials.
