About the Location:
Hybrid Position:

This position may be considered Hybrid based on PetSmart’s FlexSmart policy and business needs. A Hybrid work arrangement is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity. Associates with a Hybrid work arrangement have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can be required to come onsite between 1-5 days a week as determined by leadership and based on business needs.

About the Job:
A Data integrity specialist is responsible for SKU creation in SAP for all US and CANADA merchandise, supply, coupon, and fixtures type items.  They manage master data and respective auditing to ensure data accuracy. Manage SharePoint workflow for merchandise vendor set up processes for all channels. They resolve purchase order discrepancies across US merchandising.  Manage daily requests via a shared mailbox from customers across the business from Stores to Legal Merch, Supply Chain, Inventory control and accounting to name a few.  Manage assigned projects to drive business improvement like Warranty collection or NJ Label accuracy and other internal project to increase efficiency and time to serve the business. On occasion supports as back up for the MDC Merchandising Display Center management (receiving deliveries and opening and closing facility).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

New item, brand and attribute creation for Merch, Services, gift cards, supplies coupons and non-supply fixtures for all products within SAP

New vendor set up and maintenance

New vendor portal training and support

Execute and distribute reporting; Import Vendor report, Haz Matt report, Demand Planner report, New Item report (sku data dump), Vendor Data reporting

Master data regular maintenance as requested; dimensions, cost , MPP, Info Rec’s, availability, long term out of stock

Resolve store issues relating to labels UPC and scanning issues

Research and resolve purchase order discrepancies across US Merchandising and help investigate vendor paybacks

Performs other data integrity functions and auditing to ensure clean master data, Replenishment audit, New item audit, Species and life stage, Attribute audit and upload, Plastic bag and bottle fee audits

Process documentation maintenance and creation for new processes

New Store open and closing set up processes in SAP and regular maintenance as required by business

Support innovative business solutions as needs evolve

Support master data deep dive and clean up efforts including QA testing to support new system integration.

Work alongside of legal and store operations to support the Weights and Measures, Plastic bag legislation and bottle fees developments

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

Requires knowledge normally obtained through associate degree. Requires proficiency obtained with 2+ years experience in a Buyer support, merchandising or data entry role.

Able to demonstrate success in ensuring accuracy and security of critical information. Committed to upholding high data quality standards through audits and continuous improvement, with a focus on SKU master data and seamless new item creation processes. Strong analytical and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams. Candidate must have good human relations skills to build positive relationships with the team, other departments and outside vendors.  Must also have the ability to listen attentively and respond in a sensitive and appropriate manner, treating all with respect and dignity.  Requires good written, verbal communication skills to effectively communicate information to all levels of leadership. Comfortable speaking publicly when needed. Requires strong organizational and time management skills.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Must be comfortable with juggling multiple tasks throughout the day and week.

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficient skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and other systems as required.
