Details/Scope of the project:
As a tester on our team, you’ll assist developers with evaluating software developed for life insurance.
You’ll help build a test plan with test cases based on user stories.
Using manual and automated processes, you’ll help generate data and execute the test cases to see how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.
Team members may have the opportunity to gain skills in automation and development while establishing your software testing experience.
Team Technical Stack:
Experience with API Testing
Experience with data/query validation
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Postman, Tosca, Lucid, Miro, etc
Must have skills for this role:
5+ year(s) of experience with testing
Experience with test methodologies, QA process, and the software release cycle
Knowledge of Operating Systems and networking
Knowledge of release procedures and software defect tracking
Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
Ability to apply appropriate test methodologies including writing test plans and test cases
Experience with UI web applications
Experience with API Testing
Experience with data/query validation
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Postman, Tosca, Lucid, Miro, etc.
Experience in an Agile working environment • Automation exp. in codeless test tools like Tosca Commander or similar
Strong domain knowledge with background in Life Insurance and Annuity product lines
Strong knowledge of commission systems
Preferred skills:
Communication
Cross functional communication
Insurance industry backgrounds
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
