DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS? 

As a Software Engineer at Nauticus Robotics, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the software systems that power our advanced subsea robotics platforms. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to create robust and reliable software solutions for underwater exploration, data collection, and analysis. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions for subsea robotic systems. 

Develop and maintain control systems, autonomy algorithms, and user interfaces for underwater vehicles. 

Implement real-time data processing, sensor fusion, and communication protocols for subsea applications. 

Participate in software testing, debugging, and system integration activities. 

Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through rigorous testing and code reviews. 

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in subsea robotics and software engineering.
