Accounting Data Analyst
Washington, DC/Hybrid
MUST:
Active Secret Clearance required
Experienced Financial or Accounting Data Analyst
5 plus years of experience as a financial or accounting data analyst
Knowledge of Federal accounting concepts and standards required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite
Experience in consolidation and shutdown of legacy systems in preparation for migration to an ERP System
Knowledge of federal financial systems and databases, such as: SAP to extract and convert financial information for analysis
Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
Excellent written and verbal skills
Good organizational and communication skills
Creative and interested in developing new ideas
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business required
DUTIES:
Monitor compliance with key emerging OMB, FFMIA, and FISMA requirements
Conduct regular reconciliations of financial data to ensure consistency and accuracy
Provide thought leadership in the development and execution of IT related analyses and initiatives supporting operational improvement projects
