Biomedical Materials and Orthopedics Testing Applications Engineer

Job Description

Primary Objectives:  

Support the MTS Materials Testing Business by providing biomedical testing knowledge and expertise to our orldwide customer base.  

Provide pre-sales technical support and leadership to both our customers and sales teams. 

Lead the translation of customer requirements into a proposed technical solution. 

Major Areas of Accountability:

Provide technical assistance directly to our customers and salespeople.

Establish technical credibility with the prospective customer.

Understand the prospect’s technical needs and develop the appropriate MTS testing solution.

Conduct testing demonstrations to help the prospective customer understand the solution. 

Plan and conduct effective customer presentations. 

Participate in professional societies and society committees to stay informed of latest testing trends to build MTS industry knowledge and to influence testing standards, as applicable.
