Overview:
DecisionPoint is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our corporate growth and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise and business insight to design and document scalable solutions aligning with our strategic objectives. A key responsibility will be crafting and reviewing proposals articulating technical concepts clearly and compellingly, ensuring they resonate with stakeholders and align with customer needs. Your role will involve developing innovative architectural products and aligning application design with infrastructure strategies in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, and application development.
This position requires a minimum of 2 days a week of onsite at our Reston Office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as a solutions architect in helping to cultivate business growth
Lead the design and development of complex technical solutions for our critical clients
Advise organizational stakeholders on emerging software and open system technologies and how to implement those and work alongside key team members to ensure IT and business planning are fully integrated on a continuous basis to increase business capability and value to our clients.
Perform feasibility analysis of potential future projects
Provide expertise in enterprise architecture, application, data, security, data fusion, cloud migration, data modeling and infrastructure architecture areas.
Acts as technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience developing and documenting technical feasible solutions
Progressive technical leadership including supporting cross-functional teams in the areas of engineering, digital, analytics, consulting, and cyber
Enterprise infrastructure buildout and management
System and data migration including legacy systems
Fluent with industry best practices in enterprise and security architecture
Strong team building and consulting skills
Must be highly motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Desired:Experience with the application of Agile practices, principles, and patterns
Experience with DevSecOps support for continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies
Experience with Zero trust methodologies
Experience using AI tools
Technical Design and Services involving heterogeneous software platforms
