Pay Range: $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement network infrastructure to ensure connectivity and stability of the company's network
Analyze security vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to protect the network against potential threats
Configure and maintain Cisco ISO devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Work with Nexus switches and related technologies such as Virtual Port Channels (VPC) and Fabric Path
Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
Work with switching technologies including VLANs, STP, EtherChannels, and Layer 2 and 3 switching
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Min. 3-5+ years of experience in network engineering
Experience with network cabling infrastructure design and installation
Strong knowledge of network security vulnerabilities and solutions
Experience with Cisco ISO devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Experience with Nexus switches and related technologies such as VPC and Fabric Path
Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
Experience with switching technologies including VLANs, STP, EtherChannels, and Layer 2 and 3 switching
Network engineers typically have a Cisco CCNA and/or CCNP Certification.
