CrossTech is seeking a SQL Developer for one of our clients in Richmond, VA, Jacksonville, FL, and/or Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid position.
Job Description
Responsible for creating table structures and will process data that is required to meet a critical reporting need within the technology group.
Work independently with minimal guidance, in understanding requirements provided by Business Analysts.
Writing ETL programs to source data from upstream database systems as well as data sourced with various file formats such xml, csv etc.
Experienced MS SQL database developer and will be responsible for developing/maintaining TSQL code.
Write complex queries, query tuning, and troubleshooting.
Write complex stored procedures and functions as well as support/enhance existing procedures.
Experience with creating/modifying database schema, tables, indexes, etc.
Qualifications/Skills
7+ years of full-time experience as MS SQL / TSQL Developer with stored procedures, views, triggers, cursors, tables and index creation.
Experience with Autosys, BIDS/SSIS, TFS, Bit Bucket, C# and familiarity with object-oriented database design and development.
Experience in database and query optimization.
Must have familiarity with IT Infrastructure management domain.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Solid understanding of data architecture, efficient database design, writing complex queries and query tuning and troubleshooting.
Experience with C# scripting, Tableau, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
Infrastructure or Product life cycle management domain knowledge.
Experience with MSSQL Server 2012 or higher.
Data Analysis.
Knowledge of Indexes, cursors, triggers.
Compensation
$48-$50/hr.
