Job Description
The Position:
The Systems Administrator will oversee the operational support and troubleshooting of our IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless functionality and support for our deployed sales team, external call center operations, and corporate resources. Reporting to the IT Manager, the Systems Administrator will work closely with various teams to maintain and enhance our systems, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Please note this is a hybrid position and requires employees to work out of our Overland Park, KS office two days per week.
What you will do:
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 IT support escalated by fellow IT team members
Troubleshoot SaaS applications, email routing/delivery, O365, Google Apps, Active Directory, AWS, DNS, LAN, VPN, AV/Security apps, and other issues as they arise
Work on both Tech support and system administration tickets, Including FUS setups.
Provide IT support in person and over the phone for all employees and facilitate end-user training on new software applications and other technology.
Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
Implement new operational processes aligned with global standards and maintain the existing operations with an eye to improving as needed
Evaluate existing systems, processes, and procedures, and recommend improvements
Design and perform rollouts for OS patches, and software deployments using deployment tools such as ManageEngine EndPoint Central
Always create & maintain technical and architectural documentation
Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root causes, and provide technical support when needed
Assist with managing major incidents - communication, root cause analysis etc.
Ability to physically move and install equipment including but not limited to desktop PCs, servers, network equipment, etc.
Other day-to-day assignments as needed
Manage time and tasks as assigned by manager
