Java/Accela Automation Developer - Hybrid

Job Description: 

As a Java/Accela Automation Developer, you will design, develop, test, and implement systems and applications. This role involves supporting five instances of Accela across multiple agencies, as well as providing additional technical support for other client systems. You will collaborate with team members and agency clients, streamline business processes, and maintain Accela applications while offering development solutions. Additionally, you may work on web services and client-server applications as assigned.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Provide technical support for Accela Civic Platform (Accela Automation) for Licensing, Case Management, and Citizen Access 

Design, develop, and test Accela applications, ensuring security best practices and role management 

Maintain and enhance Accela applications, including scripting, event, batch, pageflow, and expression configurations 

Develop reports using AD HOC, Crystal Reports, and SSRS, while handling data migration using Accela tools 

Configure Accela security roles, FIDS, and manage application changes using Configuration Manager 

Collaborate with internal teams to support application security, promote changes, and manage code repositories (SVN, GIT) 

Work with SQL Server databases and assist with database-related tasks 

Provide support for Accela GIS and Accela Mobile Apps integration 

Assist in configuring Accela payment adapters and perform related data migrations 

 

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: 

Proficient in Java, Rhino JavaScript, .NET, HTML, XML, and SQL 

Experience with Accela Civic Platform implementation and support 

Strong reporting experience with AD HOC, Crystal Reports, and SSRS 

Hands-on experience with Accela application security and scripting (event, batch, pageflow, expression) 

Experience using Microsoft SQL Server databases and Accela Data Migration tools 

Familiarity with source control tools like SVN and GIT 

Knowledge of Accela GIS, Accela Mobile apps, and Accela payment adapter configurations 

 

 

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
