4 Corner Resources is looking for a passionate Software Engineer . We are seeking candidates with experience in major application development languages, including Java, .NET, C#, HTML, and COTS. Proficiency in SQL and a strong understanding of services such as micro-services, SOA, and APIs are essential. This role will start on a contract basis and will offer a hybrid schedule.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Perform analysis, design, development, and implementation of IT strategic applications and data services. Assist with solution design efforts and impact analysis for critical applications, ensuring standard operating procedures are followed.
Analyze complex business and systems requirements, designing solutions for applications, data, processes, interfaces, controls, outputs, environment, and infrastructure tools/utilities.
Minimize disruption to applications through analysis, planning, testing of proposed software changes, and adherence to strict change management processes. Conduct deep dive analysis of application issues across the full stack and recommend solutions.
Provide technical support to application services teams when required, including operational, maintenance, and modification of interfaces and reports, as well as general technical modifications.
Anticipate and identify potential problems before they occur, implement solutions, and prioritize work to minimize impact on projects and users.
Job Experience:
Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education requirements
2-5 years of experience in software application engineering
Preference for experience in developing applications for the hospitality industry
Experience in:
Business process improvement
Systems convergence initiatives
Working with offshore development teams is desirable
We are seeking candidates with experience in major application development languages, including Java, .NET, C#, HTML, and COTS.
Proficiency in SQL and a strong understanding of services such as micro-services, SOA, and APIs are essential.
Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica (preferred), SSIS, MuleSoft, or similar is required.
A deep understanding of SOLID design patterns, SOA principles, and implementation methodologies (Oracle Fusion experience is a plus) is necessary.
Candidates should have data modeling and design experience, N-Tier application design, and UX/UI experience.
Knowledge of XML, enterprise integration technologies (e.g., SOAP/WSDL), and experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Web MVC, Hibernate, RESTful, JSON, and AngularJS is required.
Experience with CI/CD tools like GitOps, GitLab, Jenkins, TFS, and code quality tools like SonarQube is also needed.
Knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud integration is essential.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Pay Rate:
$45 - $50 / HR
