Job Title: Solution Architect
Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension and conversion to FTE)
Pay range $60 - $65/hr
Location: New York City, NY (1 day per week in-office)
Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Job Summary:
The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in the U.S. RAP (Remediation Assessment Program) by overseeing the application inventory for the US Business and driving initiatives to standardize application management processes. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact within a top 5 Canadian Bank, working directly with executives and collaborating with international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Portfolio Management:
Conduct regular reviews of the US application inventory to ensure comprehensive documentation.
Standardize the onboarding process for applications used by the US Business.
Develop and implement strategies for application management, including inventory gap assessment, onboarding, and stakeholder liaison.
Define application assessment criteria and leverage automation tools to improve efficiency.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT applications, system integrations, and third-party risk management.
Required Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience as a Solutions Architect.
Prior experience with Application Portfolio Management.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in Cyber Risk.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills.
Resilience.
Adaptability.
Education:
Post-secondary education in a related field.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills and have prior experience working within a large-scale financial institution or bank.
