A policy team provides policy development and maintenance services across all aspects of the enterprise. As the Operations Analyst in the team the successful candidate will be exposed to a vast range of business topics pertaining to mental health, developmental disability services in the State of Georgia, and administrative operations. The work is varied, busy, interesting and demanding and candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to manage a range of tasks with a high level of accuracy. The Operations Analyst will learn something about every aspect of operations and provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and assist with technical difficulties they experience in accessing our SharePoint site.

Key Skills

Excellent spelling and ability to type at conversational speed in front of an audience .

Service workgroup meetings under the direction of Policy Coordinators and take dictation during the course of meetings.

Precise attention to detail and motivation to carry out tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision. Take self-responsibility for checking own work prior to submission .

Technical ability: computer literate and technically astute able to quickly learn how to use high quality interactive Smartboards, and with at least intermediate level working experience of program specifics for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Adobe Pro, Visio, WebEx and Teams meetings.

Organize meetings, prepare documentation, follow-up with invitees, prepare agenda.

Maintain spreadsheets and other documents that track wider team projects or other information.

Organizational skills conducive to prioritizing tasks and undertaking routine monthly tasks.

Provide technical assistance by phone or in person to customers who may be struggling to open documents or access Sharepoint.

Provide Troubleshooting assistance for WebEx or Teams meetings.

Navigate and assist Policy Coordinators in managing information in the electronic policy management system,.(url removed). Ability to follow instructions carefully and completely.

Contribute to the team by sharing knowledge gained from training courses or other experience to support the development of an integrated, multi-skilled team.
