Key Responsibilities:
Develop BI Reports: Hands-on development of comprehensive and visually appealing Power BI reports.
Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate an offshore development team, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex data sets to drive business insights.
Project Management: Oversee BI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Performance Tuning: Optimize Power BI reports for performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Power BI development.
Leadership: Proven experience managing offshore teams.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Locality: Must be local to Columbus, OH, or willing to commute to the NiSource office downtown 2-3 days a week.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
