Our large oil and gas client’s Upstream division is seeking a talented UX Researcher to join our team and drive business strategy through innovative research. You will play a critical role in understanding our users’ needs and identifying opportunities for improvement, contributing to the development of groundbreaking energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive research strategies to uncover valuable insights and inform decision-making.
Conduct generative and evaluative research, including user interviews, work shadows, focus groups, and usability tests.
Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and opportunities.
Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to communicate findings and drive impactful solutions.
Adapt to dynamic project needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Scope problems and objectives, even when information is incomplete or unclear.
Advocate for the value of UX research and design within cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Anthropology, Psychology, Human Factors, Information Science, or a related field.
Proven experience leading substantial qualitative and mixed methods research projects.
Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and best practices.
Ability to clearly convey research findings through compelling presentations and reports.
Onsite presence at our campus in Spring, TX is essential.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60 to $70 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match + paid vacation + paid PTO
