Data Analyst

MUST:
Active Secret Clearance required
4 7 years of Data Architecture
7 12 years' experience with Data Analysis
Experience supporting DoDAF is a plus
The ability to analyze and present statistical information.
Mastery of specific types of databases, such as relational or foundational databases.
Experience with database management software.
Data management skills.
Ability to lead an IT team.
Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms.
Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
Able to develop strong client relationships.
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred.
DUTIES:
The Data Architect will be required to identify data inputs leveraging available data sources, manipulate and map data and interfaces, generate output, provide completely legible documentation in a government-approved format (including fit-for-purpose DoDAF products), and verify results for accuracy.
Research and develop policy or whitepapers that support plans and projects for data activities. Expertise will need to include structured problem solving, functional and mission level analysis, and an understanding of DoD, Army, and Air Force data strategies, technologies, tools, techniques, and procedures.
Provide technical expertise regarding data dictionaries, catalogues, and ontologies to guide the design and interface of systems, including but not limited to Shared Situational Awareness, to improve information sharing, data management, and data usability across platforms.
Identify data inputs leveraging available data sources, manipulate and map data and interfaces, generate output, provide completely legible documentation in a Government-approved format (including fit-for-purpose DoDAF products), and verify results for accuracy
Research and develop policy or whitepapers that support plans and projects for data activities
Provide DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) support.
Provide recommendations, guidance, research, and support on the client's tools and task management solutions system tasks.
Provide IT strategic advice to government staff, both senior leaders and action officers.
Provide/Identify new initiative or issues that relates to the client.
Identify installation solutions for new databases.
Determine the requirements for a new database.
Publish and/or present design reports.
Identify areas for improvement in current systems.
Coordinate with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines.
Audit database regularly to maintain quality.
Create systems to keep data secure.
