Overview:
The IT Director –ERP Applications role is a vital and strategic role on the IT and Digital Operations leadership team.  As the Company continues its global growth journey, this role will ensure the portfolio of ERP, Forecasting and Planning, HRIS  and other edge applications continues to meet the needs of the business.   The role will provide leadership to teams for the development, implementation, and maintenance of these applications and modules, with a focus on value realization.  This is a highly visible and key leadership role whose primary mission is to ensure our complex portfolio of applications and technologies deliver value and aligns global business processes utilizing best practices.  This role is responsible for the technologies supporting Oracle ERP, HRIS, o9, PLM and EDI in a global setting. This individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the business user community on issues related to the technical design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.

Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the technology roadmap for Oracle ERP, HCM, Forecasting & Planning, and EDI and supporting architecture. Have a deep business acumen of business processes that support supply chain, accounting, finance, HR, and legal functions; keep abreast of current and future trends in technologies supporting these areas.

Actively drive the development life cycle from requirements analysis, feasibility estimates, design, code, documentation, testing, implementation, and to post implementation support.

Identify and lead the implementation of cloud solutions across our business process teams to ensure they are organized and delivered in a way to achieve maximum business value.

Partner with business leaders globally to translate their business priorities into technical solutions, drive optimization, simplification, and alignment across stakeholders.

Define and deploy appropriate levels of systems support. Allocate IT resources across application areas and ensure support responsibilities are assigned, cross training is in place, and sufficient system documentation is maintained.

Maintain measurements and KPI’s related to the application portfolio performance. Develop standards and objectives for the measurements collected.  Create routine communications for executive consumption regarding application performance, project delivery, and system quality and availability.

Partner closely with the PMO, IT Cyber Security and Architecture teams to ensure all aspects of application security and project requirements have been addressed in existing and newly developed/implemented solutions.

Promoting the culture of our Company, recruit, mentor, and train a team of IT Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, developers, and managers.

Interact and build relationships with strategic third-party software and solutions providers. Identify the need for, procure and manage contract resources to assist in significant systems development projects as needed. Support the negotiation of contracts with software and service providers.

May be required to prefrom other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Education:

Degree minimum: four-year degree.

Experience level: 12+ years managing applications and/or systems development and/or strategic technology projects.

Experience with Oracle or other ERP cloud solutions.

Preferred Experience / Education:

Experience with Oracle HCM, Oracle Service Cloud, and various EDI solutions in a global environment.

Migration of Legacy or other on-prem systems to cloud solutions.

Skills Required:

Proven understanding and execution of project management disciplines.

Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation and run ops support of software solutions.

Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies; experience in all facets of systems development life cycle

Experience with implementing or supporting major ERP systems.

Excellent listening and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships.

Strong proactive communication skills

Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

Highly self-motivated and directed.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; ability to handle ambiguity.

Experience managing and working in a multi-functional, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

This position requires the ability to manage the flow of data, perform analysis, generate summary reports and communicate while being connected in the office, at home or while traveling by laptop or mobile device regularly without regard to time zone or day of the week.
